Hiring a venue

Choosing the Ecole du Louvre as the venue for your event means benefiting from an exceptional cultural location in the heart of Paris.

The Ecole du Louvre, an exceptional venue for your events

Located in the very heart of the Louvre Palace, the school benefits from one of the very best locations available, in close proximity to art works and Parisian monuments.

After moving in 1972 in the Flora Wing of the Louvre Palace, the school was reorganised in 1997 by architect Antoine Stinco as part of then-President Francois Mitterrand’s decade-long project to remodel and expand the Louvre.

More recently, new spaces were opened then redesigned by Heleen Hart, who received the Grand Prix du jury d’architecture 2021 award. Now more modern and better equipped for contemporary lifestyles, yet still homed in the historic palace, the spaces of the Ecole du Louvre will allow you to create your own experience in a setting which is ideal for professional events.

Choosing the Ecole du Louvre for your event means benefiting from an exceptional cultural venue in the heart of Paris.

It also means giving yourself the opportunity to hold exclusive events in a remarkable location. You can make the most of our fully equipped amphitheatres and classrooms for your conferences, seminars or conferences.
Our open spaces including the hall and cafeteria can host your breakfasts, cocktails, dinners, etc.

Choosing the Ecole du Louvre for your event will also allow you to:

  • strengthen your image by associating yourself with a French academic and cultural institution;
  • help your teams bond during seminars, conferences, etc;
  • implement marketing operations for your various customers, employees, shareholders, etc.
  • invest in the talents of the Ecole du Louvre;
  • help developing the revenue of a public higher education establishment;
  • become a supporter of research, teaching and supporting the future key players of the cultural scene.

Hiring spaces at the Ecole du Louvre can be part of compensation granted within the framework of a partnership agreement.

The school cannot host family events (weddings, birthdays, etc.) or dance evenings.

Priority will always be given to students and their education.
