By deciding to support its activities, you will be able to charge 66% of the amount of the donation made to the Ecole du Louvre to the IR. The maximum amount of IR reduction granted is 20% of taxable income.

Example: if you make a donation of 1,000 euros to the school, your donation will only really cost you 340 euros after IR reduction, since you will receive a tax receipt which will reduce your IR by 660 euros.

The General Tax Code allows individuals liable for real estate wealth tax (IFI) to benefit from a reduction equal to 75% of their annual donations to certain organisations which are in the public interest. This payment is made without direct or indirect compensation for the benefit of the donor.

If you are subject to the IFI, thanks to a donation, you can participate in numerous solidarity projects, including towards not-for-profit establishments which are in the public interest and dedicated to public or private research, higher education or artistic education.

The Ecole du Louvre is authorised to receive this type of donation and to issue tax receipts accordingly to reduce the amount of your IFI. By deciding to support its activities, you will be able to charge 75% of the amount of the donation made to the Ecole du Louvre to the IFI. The maximum amount of IFI reduction granted is 50,000 euros per year.
